American Sign Language Courses
Did you know that ASL is the third most commonly used language in the US?
eDynamic Learning’s ASL courses have been developed with deaf educators who teach American Sign Language, hold Master’s degrees from Gallaudet University and are fluent in ASL and English. American Sign Language is complex and robust, consisting of signs made with the hands, facial expressions, and body postures. Since sign language is a visual language, students are given access to hundreds of videos which feature signs and dialogs between Deaf individuals that are paced to allow learners to follow and to mirror the signs.
Students will learn the language, grammar, and phonology, so that they can start communicating right away. They will also explore Deaf culture – social beliefs, traditions, history, and values.
