When we think of the teachers who made the biggest impact in our lives, it was the ones who most sincerely believed in us, and who let us know through their words and actions that we mattered. We cannot capture the minds of our students, if we do not first capture their hearts. You matter is not a statement of inspiration. It is not a project, or strategy, an event, or an item on the agenda. It is the agenda.

Angela Maiers is a world-renowned author, entrepreneur, international keynote speaker, and educator, whose transformative message of the importance of mattering has the power to unleash the genius in us all.
Angela’s following includes leaders in business, education, government and non-profit organizations, which grew out of response to a TEDtalk she gave in 2011 that went viral. It focused on on two words: You Matter.
Her speeches, workshops, and books leave audiences resonate with all and have the power to transform.
Angela earned a BS in Education with a minor in Neuroscience and a Master’s Degree in Literacy and Ed Leadership. She is the author of eight books including: Genius Matters, Classroom Habitudes and The Passion-Driven Classroom.
