Linda Ashida

Interim Communications Supervisor, High School District 214

Linda Ashida has been a passionate advocate for students during her 35-year career in High School District 214.Currently serving as Interim Communications Supervisor for the Community Engagement and Outreach (CEO) department, Linda plays a key role in strategic communication and content creation for all District schools. Inspired by her commitment to design relevant and authentic learning experiences, and to prepare students for the workplace of the future, she founded and leads the 214 Story Team, a team of student interns who collaborate with the CEO team on the District’s strategic storytelling efforts.  Prior to her current role, Linda served as a Spanish teacher, Instructional Coach and District Coordinator for Teaching and Learning. She enjoyed many years of designing and leading collaborative professional learning experiences that included Peer Observation Groups, Internal University courses, and teacher-led Institute Days.
