This document provides schools identifiable funding uses for eDynamic Learning curriculum resources for K12 schools.

ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund). Includes three bills — CARES, CRRSA, and ARP

The U.S. Government has set aside over $190 billion in stimulus funding for schools in the form of federal COVID-19 relief funds.

The CARES Act (The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act)
$13.2 billion allocated to K-12 education nationwide. The date to expend these funds has been extended to September 30, 2022.

CRRSA Act (Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act)
$54 billion in ESSER funds nationwide for K-12 education. Funds need to be expended by September 30, 2023.

ARP Act (American Rescue Plan Act)
$126 billion in ESSER funds to be distributed nationwide to K-12 education. Funds need to be expended by September 30, 2024.

ESSA (Every StudentSucceeds Act)

ESSA represents the national education law and longstanding commitment to equal opportunity for all students.

eDynamic Learning Identifiable Uses:

Title I
Provides supplemental funding to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families provide high-quality education.

• Professional development
• Computer software to support student instruction
• Summer school programs
• College and career readiness
• vocational and technical education and career counseling

Title II, Part A:
Supporting effective instruction through professional development.

Title III, Part A:
Opportunities for EL students to attain English proficiency.

Title IV, Part A:

• Improve the use of technology to improve academic achievement and digital literacy
• Provide well rounded education:
  • STEM programs
  • music and art programs
  • foreign language instruction
  • civic instruction
  • college and career counseling

Title IV, Part B:

• Enrichment opportunities
• Digital curriculum

IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)

IDEA is a grants statute that provides federal funding for the education of children with disabilities.

eDynamic Learning Identifiable Uses:

• Materials and classroom supplies for use with children with disabilities
• Professional development for special education personnel and general education teacherswho educate children with disabilities

Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V)

This Act amended the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education (Perkins IV) Act of 2006. This bill reauthorizes through FY2024 the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 – a federal investment in career and technical education (CTE), career exploration and comprehensive guidance and academic counseling.

eDynamic Learning Identifiable Uses:

• Provide career exploration and career development activities (including in the middle grades)
• Career and technical education programs and programs of study integration of employability skills into career and technical education programs and programs of study
• Integration of employability skills into career and technical education programs and programs of study
• Expanding access to career and technical education for special populations
• Opportunities for students to participate in distance career and technical education and blended learning programs
• Purposeful and meaningful Professional Development

EANS (Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools)

The American Rescue Plan provides 2.75 billion for non-public schools to address the impact of the COVID-19 emergency and is available through September 30, 2023.

• Assistance for remote or hybrid learning
