But rather than using an iPhone, you’ll access the session through your GoTo Webinar link and use the “raise hand” option to ask a question or share a comment. Terry Kass
Ms. Teresa (Terry) JoAnn Kass is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership Education and has a passion for the Beauty industry. She enjoys teaching her students and reinforcing their knowledge. She shares her ideas and continues to learn from her students and peers daily.
Ms. Kass fell in love with Beauty School and found that she never wanted to leave her classroom. She has been working with the Lake County Tech Campus for many years and still wants to inspire, share her knowledge, and watch her students grow into young professionals. She has been a Cosmetology Instructor at the Technology Campus for over 20 years, and over the past 5 years, has served on the Lake County High School’s Technology Campus Technology team. MS. Kass has also served as a peer mentor for 3 years as a Bio-Medical Instructor, Child Care Instructor, and CNA instructor.
She has done presentations at the eDynamic Learning Virtual Summit, for new eDynamic Learning Empowered Educator members and at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Connections Conference on Professional Portfolios with the use of Google Classroom, Hierarchy of Student Talk and Classroom Management. Ms. Kass has also presented the Hierarchy of Student Talk at the Technology Campus Institute Day for their Instructors and staff, and during a Tech Campus Institute Day she presented on the use of podcasts to enhance a lesson.
She is skilled in using Prezi, Kahoot. It!, Podcast, Google Docs, and Google Classroom. The Technology Campus utilizes Schoology as their platform and she uses Agilix Buzz for eDynamic Learning. Ms. Kass feels her skills continue to grow daily.
David Marks
Mr. David Marks is a Cosmetology II Instructor with a Bachelors of Art in Theology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. He has always had a passion for teaching and feels life has always kept that door open for him. He is very active in his school where he has opportunities to lead and teach peers in various teaching strategies.
Regina Smart
Ms. Regina Smart has been teaching agriculture for 24 years and has worked with the virtual program since 2018. She teaches in Calcasieu Parish in Southwestern Louisiana. Her passion for agriculture drives all that she does. She is an agricultural educator by choice and not by chance.
Nicholas Parker
Mr. Nicholas Parker grew up in Eastern Idaho in a small town where both of his parents were teachers. They were able to spend holidays and summers together and it was a great experience. So he decided he wanted to be able to give that to his family as well and went to school to become a teacher. He went first to Idaho State University and then earned his degree at Boise State University. Mr. Parker has been teaching since 2004. He started his teaching career in Parma Idaho and from there, came into the West Ada district teaching all social studies courses. While teaching in the brick-and-mortar school, he has also been teaching online for the last 12 years out of Wisconsin. Along with teaching he has coached baseball basketball and football.
He is dedicated to his students’ success. Mr. Parker wants them to have a great experience and will do whatever is needed to help them reach their goals. Student success is the most important thing, he feels he is here for them to use as a tool to reach their goals.
