Module: Intro to Coding
This 20-hour course provides everything you need to introduce students to computer science and real, text-based computer programming for middle grade students! This course includes online lessons, group classroom activities and complete lesson plans for guiding students through authentic coding experiences. In this innovative module built for teachers with any level of coding experience, 5th to 9th-grade students will be introduced to computer science and real, text-based computer programming. Students will learn about careers in information technology, the basic concepts of coding, and write their first code with robots.
