Access For All Learners

At eDynamic Learning we strive to design our curriculum to be flexible to meet the needs of all learners, whatever their abilities or disabilities. We continuously seek and incorporate the latest pedagogical and technological resources that will help engage and support all students. We listen to our school partners about their requirements and their students’ needs, which vary by location and their student populations.

Robust Catalog of Courses

eDynamic Learning creates dynamic and engaging CTE and elective courses, as well as supplemental materials, that give middle and high school students a broad view of new and unique career fields and opportunities to explore the world around them. Unlike a static textbook, our Digital Curriculum can be updated in real time to incorporate relevant and newsworthy events and details, which transfer seamlessly to LTI-enabled school partners. We review our full course catalog to ensure that topics, language, assessments, images, and videos are free of bias and appropriate for all learners and educators.

A Path for Every Student
Students today have an exciting future, which may include going to college or pursuing other avenues that lead to success in life. Starting in the middle grades our Digital Curriculum and Learning Blade solutions provide instructional materials to support career awareness and exploration. Through our CTE Digital Curriculum, students gain essential employability skills and can earn industry certifications in high school. And our Knowledge Matters Virtual Simulations provide hands-on experience in a risk-free environment. This preparation paves the way for students to pursue high-demand career fields, offering high-paying jobs.

Personalized Learning

Because our courses are designed to allow teachers to implement them flexibly, teachers can use the curriculum within their LMS to offer adjustment and customization capabilities to support various IEP and 504 accommodations and acceleration , paving the way for student success whether in the brick-and-mortar or the blended classroom, virtual class, or remote learning environments.

Language and Vocabulary Support
Our built-in optional Literacy Support Toolbar offers a text-to-speech read-aloud option, a dictionary, screen masking, highlighting, and a note capture feature. The language and vocabulary support tools are particularly helpful for students with dyslexia or reading challenges, but are also beneficial for all students to advance their literacy skills. The toolbar also includes a translation feature offering English Language Learners (ELL) the ability to translate text into over 90 languages, which reduces a barrier to their learning. And many of the languages also feature a read-aloud option in the target language to provide audio support.

WCAG for Digital Learning

At eDynamic Learning, we are committed to meeting the accessibility standards outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. We strive to create materials that allow all individuals, including those with disabilities, to access our educational resources effectively. Our Digital Curriculum incorporates a variety of accessibility features to enhance navigation, readability, and usability. These include:

  • Alternative Text: All images and non-text content are accompanied by descriptive alternative text, ensuring compatibility with screen readers and assisting individuals who may have visual impairments.
  • Color Contrast: Courses maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background elements to ensure readability for individuals with low vision or color blindness.
  • Readable Fonts: We use clear and legible fonts to accommodate individuals with varying visual needs.
  • Captioning: Videos and multimedia content feature synchronized captions and transcripts, enabling those who are deaf or hard of hearing to engage fully with course materials.
  • User Control: We provide options for students to customize their browsing experience, such as adjusting text size, based on accessibility preferences.
  • Responsive Design: We design courseware to be responsive, ensuring compatibility across different devices and screen sizes, thus facilitating access for individuals who may use Chromebooks or tablets.

We monitor and update our digital curriculum to uphold these accessibility standards to provide a learning experience that includes all students.

Support Access to Unique Course Options
Schools often have difficulty identifying teachers qualified to teach unique courses such as Cybersecurity, American Sign Language, Applied Engineering, and Coding. eDynamic Learning works with your school or district to provide state-certified virtual instructors equipped to teach any of our 270+ courses. This enables schools to offer their brick-and-mortar students an extensive course catalog to choose from, keep their funding with the school, and provide curriculum to local homeschool families who prefer to learn remotely.
