Dr. David Schuler
Dr. David Schuler is a national education leader and superintendent in the northwest suburbs of Chicago at High School District 214. Dr. Schuler launched Redefining Ready!, a national initiative around post-secondary readiness, during his time as 2015-16 president of AASA (School Superintendents Association). Having been named the IL and National Superintendent of the Year in 2018, Dr. Schuler is also passionate about the importance of community service learning and preparing all students to be college, career and life ready. He is also the president of Transeo, a cloud-based educational solution that helps students ensure post-secondary success through the planning, tracking, and management of their work-based and service learning experiences.
Andrea Anderson
Andrea Anderson has been a public educator in Texas for Birdville Independent School District with Career and Technical Education (CTE) for 14 years. She served as a CTE Marketing teacher for 10 years and has been a district CTE Coordinator for the past four years. Her role as CTE Coordinator directly supports college and career readiness for all students. Andrea’s passion in education stems from the belief that all students deserve the opportunity to receive a quality education and should be given every opportunity for success. The tagline for Birdville ISD’s CTE program is CTE=Q3: Quality Education, Quality Career and Quality Future. Andrea believes that these three essential components create a winning model for student success throughout their educational careers, so that when students graduate, they can successfully pursue their post-secondary and career goals.
