eDynamic Learning Announces New Workplace & Internship Readiness Course to Support Industry Partnerships

March 12, 2020

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, March 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — eDynamic Learning, the largest publisher of online Career and Technical Education (CTE) and elective courses for middle and high schools in North America, today announced it is launching a Workplace & Internship Readiness Course in time for back to school 2020/2021. With eDynamic Learning’s dedicated emphasis on career-focused courses, the demand of Perkins V, and state requirements for work-based learning, this course will complement their Career Ready Program™️ announced last year and support a high need for high schools all across America.

The Workplace & Internship Readiness Course will help prepare students with the employability and soft skills needed to go right into the workforce, and assist schools who are seeking to work with corporations to gain the necessary hours required by their state or industry certification requirements. This can include placing students in internships, apprenticeship opportunities, or satisfying service hours. “To develop long lasting relationships with industry partners, it’s important that schools provide students that come consistently prepared with a level of professionalism that recruiters are looking for and businesses expect. Our goal is to help schools instruct students on best practices so they can maintain those industry partnerships and help students feel confident and ready to take this next step towards their future,” said Jerry Wooden, President of eDynamic Learning.

Course modules will include workplace behavior, self-awareness, adaptability, empathy, communication, teamwork, money management, and job safety, and will end with a capstone project. “We know in talking with our educator advisory board that we are meeting a real need for states all across America,” said Wooden. “We are thrilled we can help provide a workplace readiness resource that will not only help schools and their students, but can assist corporations in developing these students into the next generation of talented, skilled professionals.”
