Heather Pelletier
District Coordinator, Mat-Su iTech eLearning Team
Heather Pelletier has been an Alaskan educator for 20 years. She has been instrumental in the startup of Mat-Su iTech, where students may take an online course as part of their school day. This program has increased student educational opportunities across the MSBSD, and has been implemented in all high schools across the district. Heather provides in-district training year around for both online and blended teaching support for MSBSD teachers using online learning platforms, as well as acting as the district coordinator for Mat-Su iTech. Heather played an instrumental part in rolling out policy and procedures for online delivery and assessment of high school curriculum during school closures.
